No Carb Meals

We are currently experiencing a massive epidemic of diabetes and obesity.  Many experts believe the main cause for this is the massive quantities of simple carbohydrates we eat everyday.   The American diet has turned into almost nothing but simple carbs and fat.  This combination is killing us slowly as our bodies were never designed to operate this way.  For thousands of years our bodies adapted to a diet that was rich in complex carbohydrates including fiber.  This is what gave us a healthy system.

Now we are manipulating the food so much that it doesn’t even act like food in our systems any more.   Instead, we are poisoning ourselves by eating carbohydrates that are quickly absorbed in our digestive tract and thus spike out blood sugar levels.  This spike in blood sugar causes our insulin production to skyrocket and then drop way back off.  Many people believe this is a major cause of our diabetes epidemic.

No carb meals are a great way to lower the amount of simple carbs in our diet and thus get our systems back operating the way they should.  Commit today to a healthier life by eating healthier food.
